May 2nd - 4th 1MOA Solutions 3 Day Precision Rifle AAR Coming into the class with a very basic knowledge of long distance shooting, I felt like I would have been behind everyone else who has been doing it for quite some time. The furthest I have ever engaged a target was about 200 yards so it was all new to me. But on day one I learned the most. I learned how to zero in my rifle accurately and manipulate my rifle and scope. I was able to build the proper fundamentals which allowed me to proceed into days 2 and 3 where I was engaging targets out to 1025 yds and making the shots on first and second tries. Also, learning the different positions to put myself in to maintain a solid base for my rifle was a big help because my main purpose of long distance shooting will be matches and competitions where we are put in less than ideal positions to shoot from. Overall, it was a great class that I would enjoy taking again if possible. I now have the proper basics and fundamentals to build on and become a great long distance shooter. -Kyle I just received this email from one of the students in last weekends PR class and wanted to share. Often times novice shooters tell me theyre worried they will fall behind or are too inexperienced for a 100 to 1000 yard class. I think thats a load of rubbish and encourage them to come out even if theyre borrowing a rifle. Getting feedback like this makes it all worthwhile.
