May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. 1 Thess.3 As I was watched Jimmy Evans yesterday then after reading this verse this morning; it hit me. Jesus love, Gods love is perfection. Yes, he speaks on marriage. But, it also can be applied in our lives with people. As Jesus walked the earth. He was criticized, spit on, neglected, beaten, cussed and anything else imaged. But in spite of it all, He still loved, was kind, joyful, at peace, had faith and didnt sin. You know when our spouse. Boyfriend, girlfriend, friend, fellow church member, mother, father, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, cuz, boss, coworkers and even our enemies upset us, treat us bad, make us mad, hurt us; we must not sin. Still love them stand beside them. Show them love. I tell my husband, when we are arguing, I call out Jesus,There is power in Your name. Im quite, not saying anything, now anyway. Its been hard, cause I wanna redirect and have my 2 cents heard. He, Adam, wonders why I always want to walk away. Ive always told, I do this so I dont say anything I dont really mean. Words you can never ever take back or away. Now, I have a new perspective. I dont walk away. I stand there and listen to him and just say okay, I allow him to vent, say want he wants. But I refrain all because I need and want to show him love and respect. When Im able to talk to him, after Ive calmed down. Then I discuss it with him. All the while, I close my eyes and quietly say,Jesus and say it as many times I need to. Yes, I remain calm when I do this. As, I talk to God, read His word, and then wait to hear from Him. There are times when its immediately and then times where I wait and wait and wait. But, God never fells. He will always come and be with you. Give you the words to say and the actions to use. I encourage you not to sin. Dont be the one that will have to give an account on your actions for this. God will reward you for your great deed and obedience.
