May the shaheed be embraced with His infinite Mercy, Love and Affection. And may He bless their parents, siblings and family with sabr and salaamti and with the comforting knowledge that their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, lie safe and secure with Him. And may He protect all of us, our home and especially those most vulnerable to all forms of harm. Pakistan has been gripped and is being crippled by a never ending wave of terrorism. One that crushes the weak, the exposed and the innocent. And that too on the pretext of our faith, one that stands tall on principles of mercy, love, fairness and justice. Shame on these people who present their evil deeds as sanctioned by the Almighty, who in the name of the Al-Wadud and Al-Muhaymin, barbarically slaughter innocent children whilst advancing their own ulterior motives. I pray, with all my heart that these perpetrators face the consequences of their actions in this world and till eternity. And may we, as Muslims, strive for and acquire true ilm and equip ourselves with the wisdom and courage necessary to claim ownership of our faith. Today is and will indeed be remembered, as one of the darkest days of our nations history. And I stand in shame as its witness.
