Maybe about a year before my aunt Christine left us to go be with God, she asked me to open up a facebook page for her. I told her Yes, but never got around to it. As matter of fact, I was thinking, why dont she try to do these things herself, like everyone else? For all who really knew our relationship, knows that I did everything for her. Now I regret not doing it right when she asked me. I guess I thought, she would always be around and I had time. As you all know, she loved Thanks giving, and this year the Simon family is going to do Thanks giving in the honor of her. Im going to give Thanks to God for giving me such an interesting and loving aunt to experience. Im going to thank him for giving me the ability to hold on to the memories I have of her, and to still be able to her voice in my head, saying Kariyawasha!! (thats what she called me in expression of her love). Anyhow, after Thanksgiving, I plan on opening up Chrisine Simons (maiden name) facebook page, as she had asked me to. Itll be a place where we can all come together and share a memory, post some pics, or just tell her how much we miss her. Itll be a place where we can keep a her alive by sharing what she has left in our hearts.
