Maybe it is just a coincidence that the very heart of Joeland is being visited by a vile hypocrite and his tawdry circus. He is taking Cheryl Cole his latest acquisition and trophy panelist with him bought and paid for like every other trapping of this mans accursed life. It would seem that everyone has their price all except Joe who valued his self-respect and independence above all else. His success in pantomime at Christmas then winning Channel 4s The Jump and being hailed as a local hero in his native north east particularly at the Custom House where his career began is altogether too much for some people to tolerate. You have all seen what sort of courageous person the boy from South Shields really is and how with no help from anyone he has become one of the greatest singers and entertainers that I have seen in my lifetime. It is perfectly true that without the X Factor competition in 2009 we would not have this remarkable young man in our lives. He has however paid a price since winning this crown because were it not for the power exercised by certain unspeakable people he would be an international star by now. However Joe has never shirked a challenge and although he cares very little for material fame and fortune he will, because of who he is and what he has come to represent to so many, one day climb to the very pinnacle of the entertainment ladder and become the great star that I believe destiny always intended that he should become.
