Maybe its just me, but I feel somewhere there was still hope, if not now, perhaps during the initial diagnosis. #cancerawareness isnt even remotely close to what it should be in this country. It goes far beyond pumping funds into fraudulent pink ribbons and races for the cure. The cures are there, and have been. Unfortunately for Americans, western doctors only offer what they are LICENSED to provide as far as treatments are concerned. While there are in fact other alternative treatment providers, yielding much better results with HEALING cancer and other degenerative diseases. Places such as the #GersonClinic . If nothing else, the alternative treatments could slow the growth and prolong life if that alone is a desire. Its beyond me the fact that here in the United States, cancer of any kind, by LAW requires that you are provided with ONLY 3 options to treat cancer; surgery, chemo of some form, or radiation. This does NOT make it the only option, nor the safest and effective! I know, -a tangent Día, but this entire situation tears me up. Conflicting with my hearts hope and convictions for this woman. Not to mention a loved one of mine currently fighting cancer for the second time, torn as to what to do for treatment. As well as those of you that Ive watched over the years suffer through the challenge personally, or via one of your friends/ family members. At the end of the day yall, I sincerely just want to be a voice and a resource based on what Ive learned, discovered, and continue to acquire in knowledge.. My prayers go up to #BrittanyMaynard, her loved ones, also those of you that may be facing health challenges or know others that are. Go with your gut feeling. Never settle for 1st or even 2nd opinions when your health/life is in question. ....
