Maybe its not about immigrants at all. The common denominator in all the rights being given immigrants, is an ever expanding, and intrusive government bureaucracy. Drivers licenses require more DMV a workers. More green cards? More government employees. Food stamps? More government employees. As our government makes greater attempts to hide a stale economy with government employment, they are creating a much longer problem. First, taxes must pay for the salaries of these unneeded workers. They will retire earlier, and collect more than their private sector counterparts. Many will not pay into social security, making that fund even more unstable. Liberals in general are greedy, self serving people. If the cared about immigrants they would boost a system that lifts them up. Here they are creating generations of government dependents, both on the receiving end, and the distribution end. They can hide this a while from the Prols. But even a prol will notice a total economic collapse. No, this is not about immigration. A part is about future voters, sure. But its more about the expansion of government than anything
