Mayor Sullivan is declaring a snow emergency for Braintree beginning at 6pm on Monday. NO on street parking, or municipal lot use will be allowed. The Braintree Police will be aggressive in towing vehicles in order to keep streets clear in support of snow removal operations. The town will attempt to keep Watson Park, Sunset Lake and the yacht club open to residents to park. That said, keep in mind streets will take priority with snow removal, so it may be awhile before those lots are cleared out. Braintree Police know this has always been an issue especially with East Braintree. Braintree Police please ask that you adhere to the snow emergency and appreciate your cooperation.
