This came after Shivambu made it clear that they want President Jacob Zuma to come and answer questions including those around when will he be paying back the money spent on his Nkandla home. Floyd said that they will make sure that the president does not speak in Parliament before addressing their questions. “There will not be a President Jacob Zuma speaking in Parliament. Even if there is only two or three members of the EFF in the house,” said Shivambu. He said that they will make sure President Zuma does not deliver the State of the Nations Address (SONA) until he has answered all the questions. In response to Shivambu’s threats, Mbete said “Ang’ si intanga yakho (I am not your age mate). You are an African child brought up by respect and I am quite sure you are not reflecting the way you were brought up,” said Mbete. Shivambu hit back saying that they are both there to do business of Parliament and that Mbete is not his mother. “I don’t know why you are raising cultural issues.
