Me my wife and two of our kids went out hiking today about 25 miles from town.My little girl is four, so we knew she couldnt walk the 5 mile trail, so we took the stroller.We had never been on the trail so we didnt know pushing the stroller would be quite a chore so Bella had to walk most of the way and ride only in the goods stretches that were few and far between.About 1 1/2 miles in she was done, my wife said we better turn back so i told her that her and Bella could start slowly walking and me and my son would go on a little farther to see if the fork in the trail we were trying to make it to was close.My wife and Bella started walking back looking for bugs and leafs.On the way back they found a log and sat down just them my wife found a piece of green lichen she then said Look Bell a piece of pretty green lichen Just then a voice from just up the hill off the trail said Licheeen My wife thinking it was me that had snuck up the hill was correcting her like i often do because she very hard of hearing and says some words wrong.So she repeated Lichen instantly the voice once again said Licheeen My wife still thinking it was me said What ever you know what i mean she said she heard something breaking sticks and rustling around so she thought it was me and my son hiding and filming them so they made funny faces for a few seconds then got bored and got up and walked on down to where we left the stroller at a rough creek crossing.About 20 minutes me and my son caught up with them and headed out when she said what took you so long? Where did you go after you corrected me when i said lichen....I then said what are you talking about i never corrected you when you said lichen.She thought i was joking and said i know it was you so i stressed to her it was not me i was up the creek like 1/4 mile.Knowing the only to convince her without a shadow of a doubt that is was not lying was to say i swear she knows i will never swear to anything that is not the truth.I said i swear it was not us and pure fear filled her eyes and she almost started crying.She then said lets get out of here and i said hold on i want to check it out and she would have none of it at all.I finally got her to stop the stroller and tell me what happened and this is the video...
