Meaford has two candidates for Mayor thus far for the October 27 municipal election - Deborah Young ans Jim McPherson, and there is one candidate thus far running for Deputy Mayor - incumbent Harley Greenfield, and today the first candidate for councillor has filed their paperwork with the municipal Clerk - Jaden Calvert will seek one of the five council seats in this years election.
