Media jargon and what they actually mean: ____________________________________ 1) I have full faith in the judiciary: I am neck deep in court cases. 2) I am no astrologer to predict poll outcome: we are losing elections. 3) I am yet to see the copy of court judgment: I have lost the case. 4) I will take a decision after meeting people of my constituency: I have already taken the decision. 5) In democracy, people’ court is supreme: I have no hope of getting favourable court verdict. 6) I will propose his name for CM’s post at Legislature Party meeting: I am the dissident group leader but silenced by high command. 7) We will discuss in the party what went wrong: We have not yet decided whom to blame. If people want, my son will take over the party: My son will take over the party. 9) Infighting in my party is a media creation: My party leaders planted stories in the media.
