Medical Waste Services Account Executive Privately held medical waste company is rapidly expanding services and seeking an experienced medical field sales professional to present and sell medical waste services to the healthcare community, with an emphasis on hospital and biotech prospects. Primary Responsibilities: • Sell and service new accounts • Identify geographic target areas; schedule sales calls • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts • Develop and maintain sales material • Keep abreast of specific industry regulations pertaining to the services offered • Establish and maintain client relationships • Prepare paperwork to maintain contractual services • Participate in marketing and sales events, including trade shows and industry functions • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, leads, sales pipeline, and results versus assigned goals Skills & Experience Required: • A minimum of 3 years’ outside sales experience in the healthcare field, with demonstrated background in cold calling • College Degree Required • Prior environmental services experience preferred • Strong motivational & self-starting skills • Ability to develop and delivery sales presentations • Demonstrated computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Excel & PowerPoint) • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of marketing, advertising and promotional techniques • Maintain a professional appearance; projecting a positive company image • Duties involve extensive local travel; valid state drivers license required.
