Meditation : best medicine for our body to relax! In our daily grind of life, we often come across moments of tiredness and drained out situation. The body and the mind work in coalition and are interdependent. Moreover the mind controls the body upto a large extent. When the mental excitation increase the body too gets excited, which can be clearly experienced during anxiety. It is also observed that one cant take intelligent decisions when the physical body is tired. In this situation, meditation offers a perfect balance to our restless body & mind. SAMADHI or Meditation as we call it is the state where the body and the mind are in perfect equilibrium. Meditation helps us to revive the energy that we lose in our day to day schedule due to the fatigue. Meditation helps us to maintain healthy state of both mind and body. This ultimately helps us to concentrate on higher levels, improves memory, improves decision making . The thinking process has a continuous burden on the physiology. When the thinking process settles down, body gains enormous amounts of rest. The levels of rest gained during Samadhi is about 3 to 4 times that of deep sleep. 20 minutes of Samadhi is equal to about 3-4 hours of sleep.
