Meet Agpalpaltog or nagbabaril in tagalog and Toto. They live at The Mansion! Yes! You read it right. The Mansion House (also known as the The Mansion) is the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines. The mansion is located in the summer capital of the country, Baguio. As we entered the gate, I was so happy to see these two Aspins happily playing at the grass. Then I remembered a post I read in a dog group where they were asking on what type of dog was at the picture. And if its not a pure breed, theyd rather give it away. Imagine how these people uses dog as their social status. I was really furious that time. Yet, I contained myself. Since I know different people have different views including owning a dog. Whats my point? Hey! Wake up! Even our own President have an Aspin at their backyard. Healthy, happy, and carefree. They even play at the front yard for us to see! Its like slapping all of us! Telling us to treasure these creatures. To be honest, am really expecting to see a breeded dog such as Beagles, Dachshund, Basset Hound and the likes. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves. Highest ranking person in the Philippines have Aspins. They never discriminated on type of breed. I was able to ask The Mansion guard and was able to learn that they just let the dogs play on the front yard. Nobody complained on it. Not even the President himself.
