Meet Annabelle Gulas. Annabelle is 87 years young and a native to Mauston, Wisconsin. Her eyesight may be failing, and her hearing may be going, but Annabelles mind is still as sharp as a tack. She is a singer/songwriter who contacted us after reading the article on #WhenIBecameFree - The Heartland Project in this weeks Messenger. She asked if we would be interested in using a song she wrote and recorded for a dear friend of hers - a friend who was a survivor of domestic violence. We jumped at such an opportunity and while we will not release the song just yet we wanted you all to have a chance to meet Annabelle. Forgive my voice being loud at times, it was so she could hear what I was saying. Kyle and Gabe were with when I stopped by Annabelles and she was thrilled to see young men working on a project such as this.
