Meet Coco Bean! This lovely girl is a 3-year-old Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever mix. Coco Bean came to PAWS after her previous guardians gave her up. They were gone more than 12 hours per day and did not have the time to care for a young, energetic dog. Poor Coco Bean spent a lot of time in her crate in her former life, so she is still working on developing a positive association with crates. Coco Bean was far too skinny at 54 pounds when she arrived, but is slowly gaining some healthy weight. Because she was previously attention-starved, she is extremely affectionate and rarely leaves her human’s side. You’ll never be short on love with this lady in your life! Coco Bean loves play and is a very active girl who has accompanied our PAWS volunteers on runs to the beach frequently! Coco Bean would be thrilled to find a home with experienced dog lovers and kids 10+, where there is someone home often to keep her company especially during the first few months of transition.
