Meet Little Bit! She is a deaf, partially blind, sweet, SWEET baby girl that we are adopting! She has...wait for it... Microphthalmia in her right eye! What?! Yes! Actually its a lot more common in animals. If you google micro tons of cat and dog info comes up. Im not sure yet why she is blind in her left. It seems like she has a tiny bit of usable vision in the inside corner of that eye. And she is completely deaf. Shaka loves her and hes been showing her the ropes this weekend. In the first picture hes showing her how to sit nicely for a treat. :) Were already working on the signs for sit, down, and come. We will also use touch signs, in case she loses all of her vision. She will be coming with Shaka and and I weekly to TDAWG to receive her training. We are beyond thrilled to be able to give this little girl a home. And yes. She loves Oli. Of course. She didnt have the same reaction to Oli as Shaka had, but theirs is a one in a million bond.
