Professional and amateur musicians, students and pupils – they all buy music in our shop or on our website. Our customers come from all over Switzerland and from neighbouring France but also from countries further afield as Geneva has an international standing and is a true magnet for tourists. We would like to thank all our customers for their loyalty, support and trust. The Bärenreiter editions are a “permanent fixture” in our shop. The high quality in terms of printing and layout, the elegant appearance, the competitive prices, the musicological research which goes into the Urtext editions – all of these aspects make us curious to see what Bärenreiter, a company which can draw on its long experience in publishing but never stands still, will come up with next. Our bestselling editions include J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, masses and passions as well as Mozart’s inimitable Requiem but also the Mass by the great Genovese composer Frank Martin. We really enjoy going to concerts where our customers perform these works. I (Sylvie Blanc) love to take photographs of all aspects of nature in the wild and have a website which you are very welcome to look at lenvoldesjours.
