Meet our featured vendors for this Thursday, August 21st. The first pictured vendor is one of our favorites. He makes the best Gyros and is always willing to offer shoppers who visit a sample. Along with several other Greek specialties from Spinach pies, Spinach & Feta pies, Meat Pies, Spicy or Garlic Hummus (which are great with his Pita Chips), Rice Pudding, Greek Olives and Baklava are just some of his offerings. He also makes a very refreshing Lemonade. Our second featured vendor is Wise Wife Soaps, a Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetic Guild Member. Katie Vance started Wise Wife Soaps because of a need for truly natural, organic soaps after she studied to achieve her certificate as an aromatherapist. Come meet Katie and her husband. See their scented and unscented soaps and lotions, perfumes, bug sprays, lip balms and bath soaks. Ask about the possibility of requesting that she create a unique scent just for you. They carry over 50 Essential Oils. Would you enjoy a really tasty steak this weekend? Then visit Andy & Janet Polka who bring Grass Fed & Finished Beef to our Market. Andy will tell you he never feeds hormones or even grain and his beef is antibiotic free. The Polkas farm is located in Ford City and they also have a number of Maple trees that Andy taps each Spring, so he also brings completely natural Maple Syrup, nothing added.
