Keebo was found huddled in the back of a cage. his legs were twisted and his family decided to adopt him when they realized that he would be PTS in three days since no one would want a deformed kitty. ! His family took him to the vet, and they were told he was deformed, due to how he was carried in vetro..., He is not truly deformed but has a condition called RH..Radial Hypoplasia/Aplasia. Its a genetic mutation.. Not only are his front paws bent at the elbows, causing him to "army crawl" but he has extra toes on his hind legs, that make them extra strong. He can walk on them and jump, he even looks like a kangaroo the way he jumps.And even though they rescued him, he is often told that he rescued them. He wants to send out the message that even disabled pets need lots of love, and have lots of love to give. :)
