Meeting Minutes 10/02/2014 7 members present Next Meeting: 10/09/2014 @ 1:30 p.m. AT building Room 115 We received a sample flyer for the GSA and discussed ideas on how to adjust it and bring those ideas to the next meeting. Talk of the winter dance was shared (ticket sales, location, date, dress code). Domestic Violence Awareness Month. A few members shared the idea of creating a banner with “quotes” of how the LGBT community is affected (Dropbox). Designing t-shirts that are LGBT and straight friendly and selling them around the school (cafepress) We also mentioned LGBT pride rings but didnt go much into detail about this. Since we don’t have many members showing up we talked about doing a welcome activity to let students know who we are and to invite them to join us.
