Mehdi Hasan argues against people who claim Islam is a religion of war. I am a British Muslim, and I never experienced any prejudice against me growing up in London until the very tragic events of 9/11. Living as a Muslim in Britain seriously sucked post 9/11 in this new era of terrorism, and whatever other negative connotations that have been linked to my religion. A lot of people are being fed nonsense by the media that totally ignores and belittles the MAJORITY of Muslims like me who read the Quran and try to live by its teachings of peace and mercy, in order to serve political intentions to create fear amongst society and divide people into us and them. Well done to Mehdi Hassan for speaking so articulately and passionately on behalf of us Muslims who want to live our lives as good human beings, amongst humans of all races and religions. Thank you for that, Sir.
