Member Testimonial: Posted By: DGray2100, Disability has become a dirty word in America and we need to stop this stigma. Where there was once compassion, there is now apathy. Where there was once assistance through various programs, there is only denials and mistreatment. Where there was once community to help take care of those in need, we now live in a digital society where community is in cyberspace. NAIDW is going to make a change to the stigma of disability and all mentioned. As one of those who need help and receive none, I have hope for the first time in nearly 20 years that there is going to be change and the NAIDW is the reason for that hope. Please help the NAIDW and the millions of Americans and their families who are struggling because of a disability and the many problems it brings. Lets not leave anyone behind anymore in America! We need the NAIDW just like we have needed for organizations such as AARP, Unions etc. Where there is need, there is someone willing to step up to the plate and the NAIDW has done just that.
