Members, If you were among the many who were completely appalled and alarmed today by the Indian Country Today headline “Rate That Genocide: Which Was Worse, Slavery Or Treatment Of Native Americans, I want to be sure to note that I, and others at NAJA, were too. It was a complete disgrace, and it was so sad to witness this sort of irresponsibility, from an Indian Country news outlet, no less. A four-page letter expressing deep concern has been prepared to be sent to ICTMN leadership. I personally refuse to share the actual link to the story, so as not to generate Web traffic to the site--which one can reasonably assume was part of the motive behind the headline in the first place.
