DT-4-1-2015 Sir, I would like to bring your notice towards the decision made by the Govt on a memorandum having docket no KGHU 103481 submitted by K.M.G.K.Bhat, Secretary Senior Citizens Forum Mulleria on CM’s Janasamparka Paripadi-2013 held at Kasaragod. The decision of the Govt clearly indicates that the Govt logically approved to make an amendment in special rule of qualification of Kannada medium teachers as they have to study Kannada as one of subjects up to SSLC prier to get appointment. I wonder which factor has prevented the Govt from implementing that already made decision. I think it is nothing but negligence towards linguistic minority students and also shows lack of will power. THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM IS MAKING AN AMENDMENT IN SPECIAL RULE OF QUALIFICATION OF KANNADA MEDIUM TEACHERS -LPSA, UPSA and HSA- as BESIDE ALL OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS THEY SHOULD HAVE STUDIED KANNADA AS ONE OF THEIR EDUCATIONAL SUBJECT UP TO SSLC BEFORE GETTING SELECTED TO KANNADA MEDIUM TEACHER POST. Hundreds of memorandums sent by us to the Govt, but General Education department, DPI and PSC not responding. So please interfere in this matter and solve this issue immediately.
