Mental illness is the most undetected disease in the United States. I believe this is due to the fact that it has no color or gender issue attached to it. It fails to identify itself with any of the indicators we deem worthy of testing. It is the larger than life person who seems to have it all under control. It is the quiet child who slips through the cracks of needed services. It is the one who.....We Thought Had it all togeather. It is the reason many of us question the indicators we are educated too assess. May we all question how we diagnose who is worthy to receive services and stop this growing epidemic. Peace
