‘Mercado de Tomar’ is the traditional weekly market held in the town on Fridays where you can literally buy anything & everything !! From vegetables, fruit and meat to furniture, plants, trees, live poultry, clothes, shoes, wicker baskets, flowers, kitchen wares.... The list is endless ! The Friday market has a great atmosphere and is an opportunity to mix with the locals and maybe pick up a bargain or two :-)
