Merry Christmas to the Warrior Boys Cross Country Team who boast the Toast of the Coast XC Runner of the Year, a member of the Toast of the Coast Team, and the Toast of the Coast XC Coach of the Year. Blake Marsh, a Senior, is your Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year. Blake was 7th at the Class AA state meet (16:52); a member of the All State Team, the Region VIII-AA runner-up (17:08); a member of the All-Region team, and he helped the Warriors to a Silver medal at the State Championship meet for the 2nd year in a row. Senior, Grant Smith, was 14th at Class the AA state meet (17:14); a member of the All State Team and the All region VIII-AA team; had a PR of 17:12, and he helped the Warriors to a Silver medal at the State Championship meet for the 2nd year in a row. Coach Rob Del Bagno led Waccamaw to their 5th Region VIII-AA Championship in a row and second consecutive silver medal at the Class AA State Championship. Congratulations to Blake, Grant and Coach D!
