Message from Gary Reynolds; Dear All Thank you Bill and many thanks to everyone for ensuring firstly that we got a squad together for the day, and secondly for playing some fantastic rugby. It was also nice to catch up with some of the guys that I have not seen for a while. I thought the new structure of the tournament was a great success. It gave us the chance to bring together, and keep in contact with, lots of our students, and we also got an opportunity to spot some future Rams stars. For the other clubs it presented the opportunity for some good unit, skills and fitness work pre-season. I think we should commend Berkshire RFU for the initiative and encourage more clubs to enter next year. I suspect lots of our guys will want to defend the title in 2015. Personally, I get inspired when I watch players that we have developed showing great skill and excellent team spirit. We have clearly been doing a lot right over the years, but we cannot rest on our successes, although we should definitely enjoy them – I certainly did on Saturday and I have never been more pleased to part with bottles of champagne! Well done everyone and perhaps one of you could convey my thanks to all the players for a very entertaining Saturday. Made my day! Best regards Gary
