Message from Jason Bearden, CEO: To our Highland Rivers Family - TopicsExpress

Message from Jason Bearden, CEO: To our Highland Rivers Family and Community, As you most likely know by now, we lost a truly remarkable member of our work family this morning in a vehicle accident that took the life of Trudie Casey. Although she was based out of the Floyd Clinic in Rome, Trudie was well known across the agency since she worked as a front desk “floating” staff member in each of our outpatient clinics. Most of all, she was well known and loved for her sense of compassion and her always inspiring enthusiasm for the work of Highland Rivers. I admired Trudie for her caring understanding for each person who walked through the doors of our clinics. She brought smiles to the faces of those who were experiencing some of their darkest times, making them feel appreciated and important, and most of all helping them to see that they were not alone. I ask that we all reach out and support one another and the people we serve, remembering that as deeply as we grieve, Trudie left behind family members who grieve even more. Once we recover in some measure from the shock of this loss, we will be better able to celebrate a beautiful life and smile again, remembering an individual who had an unfailingly caring, optimistic and bubbly spirit. Sincerely, Jason
