#Messianic #Christianity: The #Beguiling of a #Desperate #Church in the #End #Times Christians everywhere want meaning for their faith. They want to know the will of God and fulfill purpose and destiny. Yet over the past 2 decades as we look at the landscape of Christianity we can see how Christians are turning away from Christ and turning to the Jewish Traditions and the things of the covenant of Moses to find spiritual power and purpose for their faith. In seeing how there is an end time plan for the Jews Christians have tried to fit themselves into that portion seeking to find and do the will of God. Increasingly we see many Messianic Christian ministries springing up everywhere promising the Church that she can find her “Hebraic Roots” and fulfill spiritual purpose through association with Israel, financial support of Israel and the celebration of the Jewish feasts of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. In these activities Christians are trying to form a tradition of faith in Christ through the things of Moses, believing that this will provide power and authority to Christianity, as well as purpose and meaning to their lives. It is understandable that Christians want the resurrection power of Christ. But to obtain this in reality Christians must enter into the Covenant of Christ and abide in the traditions of Christ with a single heart. Empowerment of faith does not come by mixing the covenant of Moses with the covenant of Christ. Jesus called the mixing of these 2 covenants “the doctrine of the Nicolaitines” and He said He hated this. Why does Jesus hate the mixing of the 2 covenants? Jesus understood that the covenant He died to provide and resurrected to empower is the path of His righteousness for the Church that leads the soul to fulfill all the will of God. He provided a new and living way for the people of God to enter God’s presence and experience the blessings He Himself would mediate to bring a purging to the conscience; to bring regeneration to the soul and renewing to the mind. He knows that it is only through His covenant that the Spirit of God enters into to make faith living and productive for the soul to be transformed into His image. Therefore He hates anything that competes with, detracts from, or exceeds His covenant, for His passion is to bring many sons to glory through that covenant. What is the problem then for the Church? Quote: [16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: The problem is that the Church is being taught to mix the covenants, to respect the things of the house and covenant of Moses. Although well meaning, these leaders are actually ‘judging’ the Church (unrighteously), teaching false doctrines whereby Christians are not able to understand the differences between the old and the new covenant. While trying to find the will of God Christians are stumbling into sin as they remove their faith from Christ and set it into the things of Moses, trying to obtain communion and holiness from the 10 commandments and the feast days rather than the commandments of Christ and the New Covenant spiritual worship tools that set communion in Him. judge you in meat and drink, respect of an holy day, new moon, Sabbath: Apostle Paul is telling the Colossians here that the things of 1st covenant and its dietary, ceremonial laws, worship tools, feast days, etc.. were no longer sanctified for faith by the Spirit of God and these things were keeping their soul in bondage to the things of earth, which are temporal, carrying the image and power of death. All that was within the covenant of Moses was ‘in part’ and pointed to Christ. Now that He has come in His fullness and all that was of Moses (what is in part) has entered into Christ (He fulfilled the Law) we now have a better covenant, with better promises. Although well meaning, when Christians join their faith to these things, they suffer spiritual defeat as the Holy Spirit will not empower their faith for the blessing of lasting inward spiritual transformation. All the apostles of Christ removed the emphasis of the Jewish Christians to preserve their race and traditions, and directed Christ’s faith model to be focused upon the New Covenant traditions. Although the apostles were Jewish, yet they understood that God was not preserving a race, rather a people called by Him to be a nation of royal priests who were neither Jew nor Gentile. They constantly reminded the Christians to not allow carnal men to judge them, or in another words to set a tradition of faith before them that is unworthy of grace, that is void of the empowerment of grace, for it would be devilish, sensual, and would keep their faith unproductive, self validating and under the condemnation and curse of the law. They repeatedly warned that there was no spiritual life in those things of Moses. Why is then that more and more Christians are returning to the Covenant of Moses and celebrating the Feast of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles if the Apostles warned these things would condemn one’s faith and bring the soul into bondage? Christians understandably want distinction and value to their faith. The problem is that current Christian leadership do not understand how Christ has provided a new tradition of faith that supersedes the tradition of faith under Moses. They do not understand what the commandments, tools, contact points and knowledge are that make up this New Covenant, (His Living Record) therefore they are constantly journeying back to the Old Covenant and the bible characters and events of it, to find direction, purpose and meaning for their faith. Because what is of the Old Covenant is earthly, the imagination can easily enter in and form imagery in the mind. Christian Leadership identify this imagery as ‘faith’ and direct the people to activate their faith with financial gifts & investments & Jewish celebrations if they hope to achieve what is presented as God’s miraculous provisions to their everyday needs of human life. This is how the soul is deceived and brought into bondage, for the Spirit of God does not validate or bear witness of what works with the imagination, or the earthy, carnal things of the covenant of Moses. Faith without the empowerment of the Spirit is thus rendered unproductive and the soul is left without the regenerative fruit of Jesus Christ. Thus the power and fruit of sin remains upon the soul and the soul abides in the power and condemnation of death. Quote: [17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ . Apostle Paul is saying that the things of the covenant of Moses were a shadow of what was to come. What was to come? The fullness of Christ. In the things of Moses we could see hidden Jesus Christ and His glory of the Eternal Inheritance. While the things of the Old possessed a form knowledge and an activity of faith for the Jews and the Levitical Priesthood to accomplish, yet these things held no power for remission of sins; there was no power to transform the soul into the image of Christ. That is why Jesus hates the Doctrine of the Nicolatines, for it mixes that which has no power to save with that which He gave that is of power to save. When anything is added to Christ’s blueprint or taken away from it, the blueprint, the gospel, the faith tradition becomes ‘another gospel’ that is powerless to save. His word returns to Him void of fruit for the soul who embraces a gospel that He did not author. Because Jesus Christ has come in His fullness, we are no longer in need of the shadow of things. Now we have the body, which is Him. In Him are all new tools for our worship and service to God and these ‘things’ carry the empowerment of grace that is brings our soul into living contact with the Father for the mediation of Christ to be effectual. Because the name of Jesus is above all names, we can see that our union with God is now by the name of Christ, (what Christ embodies, sanctifies and is Lord over) rather that which is by the name of Moses (what was authorized under his covenant). Moses was the shadow, Christ is the body or the fullness. Christ is the eternal and perpetual pattern. Our eternal destiny and inheritance of rest is in Him, by our daily activity of faith which the spiritual tools of His covenant. He manifested himself in this New Covenant pattern for us to overcome the flesh, to overcome the world and to overcome the wicked one. Quote: [18] Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, What are Christians to do? Christians must not let their feet (faith) be removed from the path outside of the Covenant of Christ where they will become food for the wolves, where their thinking will become demonized and controlled by false knowledge, philosophies and the rudiments of the world. This is where the soul is victimized by the ‘journey’ gospels that promise God’s blessings upon the unfavorable themes and issues of life. The soul is diseased as seducing spirits enter in to this imaginary relationship, pretending to be from God in order to validate these lusts with continued inspirations and vain imaginations. To escape this bondage, to escape this path of exploitation, beguiling and condemnation, Christians must come to the stewards Christ has chosen to deliver the terms, knowledge and tools of His New Covenant. These are the living apostles of Christ, who carry within them the pure and quintessential gospel blueprint that sets the faith of the believer perfectly within the framework of Christ’s truth. It is by following the instruction of the New Covenant worship pattern that Christians are delivered from sin, delivered from death, and delivered into the liberty of Christ. By this preparation in truth the soul experiences ‘revival’ and is made ready to serve the Lord by grace, know Him after the Spirit, and grow in Him by fruit. This is the apostolic path that returns the Church to her first love, the fullness of Christ and opens the doorway to the everlasting kingdom of God. This revival is now happening in many locations across the United States and the world and we invite you to be a part. May all who seek a renewing and revival of heart to know the Father in intimacy and richness of faith come and freely receive the apostolic pattern of the simple yoke of Christ through His New Covenant. In Christ, Apostle.
