Metamorphosis ... Revealing the real you!!! FRIDAY, 23RD AUGUST 2013 UNDERSTAND THE BLESSING “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” Prov 10:22 There are several of God’s children who are ignorant of what the blessing of the Lord really is. This ignorance is displayed most times when you hear them testify of what the Lord has done for them. You will hear things like: “God has blessed me with a car” “God has blessed me with a new house”, “a new job” and so on and so forth! Beloved, that you got a new house doesn’t really mean that God blessed you with the house. The blessing of God is too big or too much to be compressed into a single house no matter how much it is worth. The blessing is really something greater than any material thing we can ever get. It is a spiritual commodity that pulls and attracts all the necessary and consistent physical and material substances to you. The word tells us that the blessing of the Lord makes rich. In other words, the blessing of God is a spiritual ability that attracts and pulls riches to the blessed. It is that thing that makes it possible for riches to locate the believer and not the riches themselves. The reason it is important to understand this is because the blessing can manifest in several different areas other than material possessions. It can manifest in your health, your children’s life, your business and so on. You can read this scripture to say “the blessing of the Lord, it makes healthy, prosperous, sound,” and the list is endless! Lastly, the word tells us something wonderful about the riches and all that the blessing adds to a man’s life. It says it adds no sorrow with it. Only God gives without sorrow. James said “every good and every perfect gift is from above …” If you will let God through the ministry of the word, He will bring to you what others crave and labor for coupled with the peace of mind to enjoy them. This is one major characteristic of a God-given blessing; He equally enables you to enjoy what He has given you. I am the blessed of the Lord and I attract the men, circumstances, materials and everything that is consistent with the blessing in the name of Jesus. Health and wealth, prosperity and progress, victory and success are all mine in Jesus name.
