Michael (Mark) and Justin are two of our families better picture takers. Tell you what, there are so many of us now Im not quite sure who is great at what. We are pretty great at gathering, every couple of years, by the craggy shores of Lake Cowinchan. Im not such a great social presence, at least not under the cottage conditions. I am watching, sometimes from a great distance, perhaps even a great distance emotionally. But I have no question about the force that compel our coming together. Its love. Love. Just as simple (and sometimes very complicated) as that. The memories we make nourish us through the longer and colder months of autumn and winter. Funny how that works. And speaking of seasons; this clan has representatives of all the seasons now. Some of us are in our autumn now. Some in the fullness of their spring times. And, thank you God, there are those just beginning.
