Anya has been battling leukemia for almost for years and we have been told by Mac and Sick kids in toronto there is no more that can be done in Canada and they both state that this trial in the US is her best option. I have been trying to get some time to discuss this legislation as I think it is quite flawed in how the evaluation process is conducted and the language used for circumstances such as this. I also find it difficult to comprehend that two government run facilities with top doctors state this is my daughter Anyas best option however OHIP an insurance company I pay into like many other ontarions will not cover it and they did not even contact any of her doctors, us or even the folks running the trials.
