Middle School Daily Announcements February 10, 2014 The following middle school cheerleaders need to turn in your uniforms ASAP to Ms. Owen or you will be placed on the fines list. Trynitee Payan and Libby Lewis. The Plattsburg Youth Soccer Club will hold signups on Wednesday, Feb. 12th from 5:30-7:30pm at Ellis. Sign up forms are also available in the middle school office. Good luck to the Middle School Academic Team tonight as they compete at home against Mid Buchanan at 4:30pm. *Parent Reminders* If you have not signed up for text caster, our school notification system, you can do so from our school website at ccr3.k12.mo.us. Once on the website just click on the Communications tab on the top of the page, then click on Textcaster and follow the prompts. If your student is in sports, you will need to also check the MS Athletics/Activities box so you will receive important information regarding game changes, cancellations, and etc. If you prefer not to receive a text message in the event of school closings, information will still be provided to the local news channels. Yearbooks can be purchased before school on Fridays in the middle school commons or anytime in the middle school office at a cost of $25.00. The PTA is challenging the middle school to see which class can collect the most labels and box tops. The goal is for each class to bring in 700 labels between now and the end of the school year. That’s only 100 labels per month! If you reach your goal, your class will get chips and pop from PTA. Collection boxes are located in the middle school office. Wednesdays are late start days with school starting at 9:18am. Students should not arrive at school prior to 9:00am on Wednesdays. Thursday, Feb. 20th , Monday, Feb. 24th , Monday, Mar. 31st , Wednesday, Apr. 16th , and Thursday, Apr. 17th are make-up days. School will be in session on these days.
