Middle School Daily Announcements January 29, 2014 Yearbooks can be purchased before school on Fridays in the middle school commons or anytime in the middle school office at a cost of $25.00. The PTA is challenging the middle school to see which class can collect the most labels and box tops. The goal is for each class to bring in 700 labels between now and the end of the school year. That’s only 100 labels per month! If you reach your goal, your class will get chips and pop from PTA. Collection boxes are located in the middle school office. The 8th grade class will be participating in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). On January 30th they will take the Technology and Engineering Literacy Assessment. The following middle school cheerleaders need to turn in your uniforms ASAP to Ms. Owen or you will be placed on the fines list. Katelyn Eagen, Trynitee Payan, and Libby Lewis. The 7th & 8th grade boys basketball team will eat at Pizza Hut today at 4:45pm with Coach Crawford and Coach Lewis. Bring at least $6 to eat. The Middle School Academic Team bus for North Platte on Thursday will depart at 3:15pm. Congratulations to all of our Spelling Bee winners. Once on the website just click on the Communications tab on the top of the page, then click on Textcaster and follow the prompts. If your student is in sports, you will need to also check the MS Athletics/Activities box so you will receive important information regarding game changes, cancellations, and etc. If you prefer not to receive a text message in the event of school closings, information will still be provided to the local news channels.
