Midweek fixtures are now complete. I shortlisted 14 teams for both leagues to pick from and 11 of them won, Chelsea and PSV got beat and Juventus only drew. So three of the more popular picks failed to win meaning a bit of movement in the leagues. Paul Blacklock managed to select the three teams that didnt win bet that was worth a few quid if he had put that bet on. Anyway enough of my ramblings. Our three team midweek treble won (cheers bayern, Barcelona and Tottenham) so for £250 we won £388.88 and the pot has now risen again to £1,520.12 and increase of over £520 in the last 2 weeks :-) The Average Joes league table now looks like this with only 2 sets of fixtures to go until the first monthly prize is awarded. Ian Baxter leads the pack and has scored maximum points in 9 out of the 10 weeks which is pretty fine picking.
