***Mifflinburg Fourth of July Celebration***…I just want to say THANK YOU! to the Fourth of July Committee members for all of their hard work this past weekend. Mifflinburg hosts thousands of visitors for our July 4th events and we try to give them a wonderful day in our Borough. Each of the events you see on the schedule has its own set of dedicated volunteers. And also the vendors who come to the park and set up shop with food and drinks. So while it’s a “day off” for our visitors it’s a very busy work day for all of the hard workers that pull off this great event. I just wanted to give a shout out to all those great people who give up their own vacations to create such a wonderful event that I have described many times as “True Small-Town Americana”!
