Might be my last L249 for a long while. I was hoping for it to be moving at track speed, but I can deal with it accelerating and it being in notch 8. WSOR 1501, 1502, 3805 leading this enormous L249 through Germantown, WI. This is going to be a big memory for me in the future. I just remember in the summer of 2012 watching them work feverishly in the heat and non-stop for about 101 miles. (Horicon-North Milwaukee) Watching them and documenting what they were doing was just so interesting. This was the first time Ive seen WSOR operate on a full section of their own continuous welded rail. From the friendly crews to the jerks. From patient drivers to impatient drivers making extremely close calls. This has been something neat. I thank a lot of these guys for enjoying the hobby, and giving me things that normally people shouldnt get legally. The biggest amount of excitement came from the first train I saw going through there doing track speed at about 35-40 mph. It plowed through the snow banks.
