Mike Beck sang a tribute to the great John Steinbeck. Very nice steel guitar work Charles Cornell kindly wrote these words.....The steel guitar is played by my buddy Steve Hinson...Im not kidding when I say that many many people have asked me or emailed asking..who is that on steel ?? !!! Thats because they recognize some fine playing....Steve is a musicians musician....and one of the nicest and funniest guys I know....Met him in a music store in Hendersonville TN. , I was in there with Gene Parsons..and Steve, who has worked with many country music legends..including George Jones...and so many I dont know about....Steve was truely in awe to meet Gene, who is West Coast Country Rock Royalty and worked with Clarence White for many years....and Steve knew it, you could tell by the look on his face....and thats why right from the get go I knew Steve was the shit. !! and the recording , thats me on B-Bender through an old Fender Champ amp...
