Mike & Big Stars Third To Play Back-to-Back Shows in NC & DC This Weekend: Big Stars Third will be in Carrboro, NC, at the Cats Cradle Friday night for the first of two appearances this weekend. On Saturday evening, the band will play at Washington D.C.s 9:30 Club. The groups core lineup features Big Stars Jody Stephens, Mike, Chris Stamey of the dBs, & Mitch Easter (Lets Active). The band will be joined by different guest musicians both nights. Later this month, Big Stars Third will perform at the Bumbershoot festival in Seattle (August 31).
