Mikes surgery went well, he will be able to come home tuesday if all goes well. We are so thankful for your kind comments, prayers, visits, help with kids, etc... People, take care of your bodies and keep careful watch of your blood sugars! Diabetes affects sooo many people now and when it does its damage some of it is irreparable. Its easy to have an Ill start tomorrow attitude about it because you dont immediately deal with the consequences of it right away, but trust me, you want to make it a priority to keep those blood sugars at a healthy level!! It is very hard to watch my young husband deal with these things way too soon because he will start tomorrow. Food is fuel to make our bodies run efficiently and you wouldnt put sand in the gas tank of your car so dont put junk in your body! It is hard in this fast food, your-way-right-away age we live in but its much harder to explain to your young daughters why dad had to go in the hospital again. I say this to myself too as I struggle with making healthy choices daily but our health must be a priority! Its our responsibility to take care of these bodies God gave us and to keep ourselves at optimum health for our kids and families. Once again, thank you all!!
