Milwaukee’s Public Safety Committee will consider an ordinance - TopicsExpress

Milwaukee’s Public Safety Committee will consider an ordinance proposed by Alderman Tony Zielinski that would prohibit pet stores from selling commercially bred dogs and cats. This ordinance would protect both animals and consumers and encourage people to adopt animals from rescue groups and shelters, or obtain animals from reputable breeders, preventing animal suffering at mass-breeding facilities. If you are a Milwaukee resident, please attend the Public Safety Committee at Milwaukee’s City Hall (200 E Wells St, Milwaukee, WI 53202, Room 301-B) on Thursday, May 1 at 9:00 a.m. to voice your support for this important ordinance.
