Minda hosted 27 senior high school students and their teachers to help give them a better understanding of disability and the work that Minda does, at the same time promoting the various career options that students can consider in the disability sector. The workshop included a range of hands-on exercises to help build skills and knowledge. It also included input from people supported by Minda, to give the students insight into a real life experience of living with disability, encouraging them to reassess their assumptions and see their community in a new light.
