Minutes of Meeting Held On September 13, 204 @ Kingsize Lounge & Bar: Meeting started exactly 3:35pm with opening prayers by Tunde. Dudu Heritage(Wole) read minutes of the last meeting which was adopted after few correction. Femi gave a brief of the progress made on the planning of our 10th year anniversary party - 1. Venue: it was discussed that we could make good opportunity of one of classmate in Ibadan East LGA to secure the Hall of the LGA for our party, the whole house agreed that our chapter in Ibadan should assist in visiting him to facilitate the venue. This was suggested in order to reduce cost of renting private hall,which we all agreed to be our last option should the LGA hall fail.(2) Foods & Drinks- in order to reduce stress and bottleneck associated with foods & drinks, we unanimously agreed to engage a caterer Drinks Vendor. The meeting agreed on planning for 200-250 members for the party.(3) Programes of Event- A 2 days programmes in the campus involving Marketing Dept was proposed and agreed; a sympossium on the Relevancy of Contemporary Marketing in the 21st Century, lecture to be delivered by Dr. Akin Alagbe.(4) on Cost of funding the event, we discussed that the total cost will be shared between Lagos and Ibadan chapter. For Lagos Chapter, it was an heat debate for us to come to an agreement members will have to make individual contribution towards the event, #10,000 each for all Lagos chapter member which is to be paid into Bisolas account, our Treasurer with account details:Gurantee Trust Bank. Acc number 0017002946. Adegoke Muibat Morenike. Pending when we get our corporate registration sorted out with CAC. Deadline for payment is October 4th, 2014. (5) the need to be on Uniform was also discussed, a Polo Shirt at a cost of 3,000 was agreed on for all members. Blue Jean and the Uniform Polo will be our outfit for the event day. (Next Page)Page 2: it sould be noted that when paying into the bank accounts, we shld try and write (IBD-POLY) in bracked after depositors name for ease of reconcilation. The whole house agreed that gradual payment can be done.Members from upcountry was also considered in the planning. (6)Video Lunch/Year Book Lunch : members are to submitt their photograph for digital printing of year book which will be lunch on that day. The year book according to the Planning Committee will have recent occupation, business, etc members are currently doing in order to facilitate networking and relationship amond members. Video Lunching of our last examination day on campus will also be screened and lunch on that date. Femi Folarin promised to donate car stickers of the Alumni for all members, this will be ready by next meeting. This gesture was highly appreciated by the overwhelming members present at the meeting. The meeting in seesion thank God for our member in person of Oyetunde who survived a teribble accident with his car. Kenny Gee gave the closing prayer at exactly 4:35pm. The meeting was adjourned till October 12, 2014. Members turnout was highly encouraging as we recorded a full house. End of minutes.
