Mir condoles demise of freedom fighter, congress leader Mohammed Akram SRINAGAR, JUNE 13:- Minister for Tourism, Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Mir has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Senior congress Leader and freedom Fighter, Mr. Mohammad Akram Rather of Larkipora,who expired last night after brief illness. In his condolence message, Mr. Mir highlighted the contribution of late Mohammad Akram for strengthening Congress party in the State. He said Late Akram was man of masses, who throughout his life worked for the welfare and development of poor sections of the society. The Minister expressed his heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. Meanwhile, District Congress President, Anantnag, Mr. Gulzar Ahmad Wani, General Secretary, Congress, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Mir, Block President Congress Party, Dooru, Mr Ali Mohammad Manto, besides other Congress leaders of South Kashmir condoled the demise of Late Mohammed Akram , conveyed their sympathies with the bereaved family. They also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
