Mishkat-ul-Masabih is the most authentic collection of traditions collected in eighth century of Hijra by Sheikh Wali-ud-din Muhammad Bin Abdullah Tabrizi who also selected traditions from Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. He arranged them subject wise to make it easy for a common man to use it to regulate his life in the light of the great Hadith of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) of Islam. He made accurate references to the source of each traditions and mentioned it very clearly whether it was Sahih (Sound) or Ahsan (good).
