Missing Phoenix Coldon Here is a comment that I sent to the editor of Mail Online - Daily Mail about the above article: I am the mother of Phoenix Coldon, who has been missing from our home since December 18, 2011. In this article by Louise Boyle, my daughter is again linked not only in the body of the article with Stacey English of Atlanta but also with her picture next to that of Stacey English. I would like to suggest that the story be updated to reflect the fact that Stacey English is no longer missing; she was found deceased several days after this article was originally published on January 18, 2012. The article is about the plight of Black women who are missing in the United States and is well written to bring awareness to the public about the silent epidemic that exists in this country. To run this story again on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, without updated information to reflect the status of some of the cases, in particular that of Stacey English, is misleading and gives those who are not aware of the outcome of the search for Ms. English the perception that she is still missing. Additionally, for those who are aware of the dreadful outcome of the search for Ms. English, to continue to align my daughter Phoenix to her situation may give some the perception that the search for Phoenix also resulted in a similar outcome. We are continuing our search for my Phoenix and are firm in our belief that not only is she alive but also that she is being held by unknown person(s) against her will for this long time. I am requesting that an editorial addendum be written to clarify the status of these two situations. Thank you very much; please, feel free to contact me if you wish.
