Mission Bell Ranch 48050 North 110th Street West ~Lancaster, CA 93536 Mission Bell Ranch is located in the high desert just one and one third hours from Los Angeles in the city Lancaster, California. This unique estate contains a main house, caretakers house, apartment, four car garage, and horse and livestock facilities. Mission Bell Ranch was constructed in 1932 and completely remodeled in 1989. Monte Bell, the builder of Mission Bell Ranch, was a famous producer who built film studios in Astoria, New York. The ranch was owned by Deanna Durbin, actress, and Joe Pasternak, producer, in the early 1940s. In 1983 and 1984, the ranch was used as the Yellow Rose for the television series of the same name, which starred Sam Elliot, Cybill Shepard, David Soul, Eddie Albert, Chuck Connors and other well-known personalities. The ranch has also been used in many movies, commercials, music videos and other productions.
